Bertoni Carni S.r.l. operates in the rabbit slaughter since over 50 years and it is recognized throughout Italy for the high quality of its products.

The company was founded in 1961 when Gianfranco Bertoni, owner of a grocery shop in the medieval village of Marola in Carpineti , decides with his wife Dina to start an own business in the rabbit-slaughtering sector .In the following years, the company experienced a constant further development: in order to satisfy the requests of that booming market, in July 1997 was opened a new plant of 1,600 square meters surrounded by the Tuscan Emilian Apennines. In 2008 the slaughterhouse has been implemented with a modern cutting room: this can be taken as evidence not only as opening of the company towards technological innovation but also as continuous improvement of the procedures. Today Bertoni Carni S.r.l. carries on its business through the efforts and total commitment of Mattia and Stefano, grandsons of the founder, who guarantee its customers the highest levels in terms of quality and genuineness.
